'94 XLT
Hey all. I live here in Canada and have just purchased a 94 XLT. Of course it has DRL (Daytime running lights). I dis-like DRL so I have been searching the forum to find an easy way to flip this off. I have seen a few threads about the DRL modual.... but this is a little to advance for me.. ;)

Here is my super 5 second fix....

Under the hood find the fuse panel. (Passenger side.)

Open and find the first bank of mini fuses. Mid way up from the front of the engine, Second fuse from the left (Passenger side) is a 20 fuse. Pull this out, this controls the DRL lights as well as the hood lamp.

All done....

Enjoy all you DRL haters...

and whats wrong with them?
If you need to turn them off for a second all you need to do is push the parking brake down a click

FWIW they are mandatory for Canadian models since 89.

If you locate the module behind the drivers headlight you can just unplug it.;)
