hello;not to sure how to do this but here it is anyway.i have a 94 x with 31,s
and 3,27. it was sick with 235,s but know it's almost dead i took it on a off road trip the other day and the tranny overheated and pucked fluid out of the vent i found a complete set of front and rear axles with 3.73,s and a limited slip rear my first question will the 3.73,s and the auto tranny do alright and is the factory limited slip a good unit thanks

having fun in wv

I have 31 inch tires and 3.73 diffs and it does alright, so I think it will be fine.

I also have the factory limited slip. Whether or not it is a "good unit" depends on what you are looking for. It doesn't fail catastrophically very often, so, in those terms it is a good unit. It's ok traction wise, but it is still only a limited slip -- it is not a locker (I think I just tend to be disappointed with limited slips). The clutches do wear out over time, but they are fairly inexpensive and easy to replace.

thanks for the info i was also wondering about leaving my rear sway bar off for better articulation. but i don't want to be another roll over report on the news. I only drive it about 30 miles to my hunting/fishing spot or quick trips around town also i'm on a tight budget and my x has the typical sag in the rear what donor vehicle has the best arched springs to get me back right. I haul alot of hunting equipment tools and 3 teenage kids so i need stout springs i'm getting ready to build a set of shackels and spacers in the front any help is good help thanks

love the site
