Side Exit?

Hey.....anyone know if theres much difference between a side exit exaust and regular back exit? I was just wondering.

Also, Im takin my Ex in 2 days to get the exaust redone. Im poppin in a flowmaster 3 chamber muffler (50 series i believe) and gettin my pipes expanded. Im super excited . Any suggestions/comments/warnings er anything? I would appreciate anything. Thanks!

On a side exit, you run the risk of getting fumes in the cab if the pipes exit before the rear tire. They do look sweet though. I have mine out the back. I have a link in my sig that has some exhaust pics.

I went with a side exit, 1 for looks and 2, because I have seen folks back up into a hill or something and fill their tail pipe with 6" of dirt, the only solution at that point is cut the pipe off.

And it sounds good when you pull up to a rice burner and take off with your exhaust right in his face.

That is one thing that I like about my exhaust. I love killing ricers and now it sounds good as I get in front of them. Makes them think twice about an SUV.
