What other bulb can I safely use in the marker light? My bodyshop put in a bright light that's bigger in size than the 194. I had originally thought it was a 194, just not amber... but I can't find a single 194 that's as big or as bright.

I like how the white light in there puts light out to the sides. [Yea yea, I'll get fogs soon enough... they'll compliment my new Hella 500FF's very well..]

But yeah....

If you want a brighter light from a bulb that's the same size as a 194, get a 168. Same bulb, but more watts, so more light. A W5W bulb is also the same size and brighter than a 194 as well.

There are larger bulbs like the 906 that use the same base as a 168/194/W5W, but have a larger bulb and filament, so these can get pretty bright too if you want to fit them in there.

194NA's, which are amber bulbs, usually look better in clear lenses when they're on, though. Clear corners with clear bulbs looks like you were too cheap to buy new bulbs or don't realize front marker lights should be amber. They can also make it look like the amber lens is broken off and you're running a bare bulb...which gives a law enforcement officer a reason to pull you over.

Odd... it's how my body shop put it after my wreck. It was new to me, and looked good.
