Yo wassup

Has anybody taken off their side moldings (the ones on that run along the doors in two seperate pieces with chrome trim on them) and if so what needs to be done?

mine are gone! do a search when you are looking to do things that other people have probably done before.

Mine are gone as well.

that is how i found out that the guy who had the x before me had gotten into some kind of wreck and covered it up without telling insurance. When i took of the passenger side molding, there was a small dent under it, along with what looked like overspray from another paint job. It was really weird. Good thing i had not taken all of them off, cuz then it would have been a pain puttin em back on. Just puttin the first one back on was a pain,i had to use some weather stripping goop to make it look normal again and stay on.

But yea, all you do is get some fishing line, and start on the end and just kinda pull it until you can get your fingers in there. THen just kinda use common sense until it is off.
