has anyone gone from the std exhaust to a single in/out on the sohc
my reason for asking is that it is impossible to replace the origional muffler except for oem and at over US$800 it is just plain stupid so any reports from a single in exhaust owners would be greatly appriciated, more related to power changes than noise.

any shop could take a single in muffler and make it fit the dual in pipes on the expo. by using a Y pipe

flowmaster makes a dual in/single out. my whole system (muffler and custom pipe bend all the way back) ran about $220 insatlled.

not in australia :australia they dont just about everything for the X needs to be supplied by the dealer, or direct from the usa but the freight charges are high
ie: US $80 + for a set of sway bar bushes

I would say it would be cheaper to just get a new cat back system I just bought one today that was made by flowmaster. I did not realize it until today that my muffler is a dual in/single out setup. So I understand how hard it is to find one. Let us know if you need any help in getting one.
