I'm thinking about putting a 6" skyjacker class II susp. lift on my '91 eddie bauer. Does anyone have any hints/tips on things to look out for or where to start. also what size tires look and fit the best. Also which size gears to put in the diffs when the time comes. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. My "X" is completely stock and I hate "Stock". Please help getting me started.

Basically, 33's are the way to go and will fit nicely, possiblilty of light fender triming. My gears are 4:56:1 and they run it nicley. For all that plus install, you run about 3000-3700 dollars total, so save up!

Thank you very much. That is the info that I needed

Just one more thing. How much of a hassle would it be to do this lift myself? Is lining up the new radius arms hard or do the instructions make it fool proof. Any hints before I go and throw a bunch of time into it and find I need to take it to a specialist anyway would be a great help. I would like to save the few extra bucks, but if it is a huge headache, I am all for taking it in. I'm planning on taking about a week to a week and a half to get it all done. Thank you for any help you can throw my way.

Thank You.

Andy

Sorry, I may elaborate on this more, but I've got the 6in class II lift. It kicks ass! Tough as all hell, and I've beat the piss outta it, and will continue that.

Go BIG-Go 35's

Yes, 33 will fit but 35's will look better. You'll always wish you had more tire. I am running the radius arms and front springs.
