Alright, my explorer is a pain in the butt to get into gear. If i'm at a stop light and i have it in neutral, i normally have to watch for the other light to turn yellow, then i begin to try to get it in gear and about a second or two after i have the green light, i can get it in. It does the hot or cold. Now the other gears about about as bad, especially second gear, almost impossible to get it in gear. It will go in gear fine if i'm running high RPMs like around 2700-3000, but i hate to do that because there is no need to burn the extra gas. It too does it hot or cold. All of my clutch components were bought new back in september and have a warrentty. I just don't know what it could be. OH, almost for got. I did bleed the clutch a couple of weeks ago and it was great for like a day, then it went back to the same ol crap, that's kind of why i'm thinking the slave cylinder. But i don't have a leak anywhere???? Huh, any help would be great!

Happy trails!!

Is there no one else that has had this problem, come on, someone give me something here!:)

Yep, sounds like a bad slave. Two possible problems. One is that the slave is not working properly hydraulicly and the other is that its getting hung up on the shaft of the transmission. Either way the tranny needs to be removed to deal with it:(

Man, that's what i didn't want to hear!!!!!! Crap, that's not something i want to mess with again, but hey, at least someone helped me, thanks Rick. OH, thanks for add that to my name for me.

Happy trails!!
