Hey guys, I replaced my stock air box with a cone filter. The engine at idle will sort of hiccup. It runs and drives fine, but when I am sittting at a light or idling I will get the hiccup. Is there an O2 sensor that was in the stock air box? I didn't see one, but that doesn't mean its not there. Oh yeah, I have a 01 Sport 4.0 SOHC. I searched through pages and pages of threads, but couldn't find anything to give me a good answer. Thanks for all the help.

Air box change

No, there isn't an O2 sensor in the air cleaner. Did you change the MAFS? If so, that would explain the difference. The MAFS samples the air so any time you change how the air flows into the MAFS, the sampling changes. Thus, at idle, it thinks you are pulling in more or less air than you really are. Even if you didn't change the MAFS and only changed air cleaners, that will change the flow.
