I was thumbing through a mag the other day and i noticed (I think) Rough Country makes slip jointed cv's for the 1500's for all the 4 inch and higher lifts. (something like that).

Now it got me thinking. Why Cant we do that? With the longer shocks and really bad upper ball joints i got i can bind the crap out of my cv''s. So i was thinking. Maybe slip joint the shaft to help it out a little bit.

thought and opinions?

Wouldnt the slip joint only help with the length of the stubby shaft?

I always thought the angle was the limiter.

it *should* help relieve tension on the shaft and extend life in thoery

oh and side note your passenger shaft good? mines toast
