My 99 has been having intermittent misfiring when first taking off. Usually it occurs after I have been driving (with no misfire) and turn the engine off. I think it may have to do with parking with the nose facing downhill.
This has been a issue for a long time, I did a tune up at one point with plugs and wires, seemed to do better. My alternator went out, replaced it. Ingition-wise all I have left is the coil pack.
If it isnt anything in the electrical system, could it be like a head gasket?
If I get a hold of a compression tester, I'll test #3 (which is throwing the CEL code) but other than that.. Im at a loss... Any ideas would be appreciated
