The Lubegard products are the only ones I believe in. The others may help an aging tranny by softening seals, but at an eventual price.

Lubegard is OEM approved. I don't know how many other additives are. I've used Lucas for many years, and it is also good. Not all additives are designed for the same purpose. Lucas swells seals, so not everybody will approve of it. Lubegard makes an excellent friction modifier additive that is well known in the transmission industry for converting DexronIII/Mercon to Mercon V for use on a 5R55E.
