I hope it will sound as good as it looks.

Very impressive. I cant wait to see it complete.

Pretty sweet... if it fails, with a lil reinforcement, it could make a nice computer chair with foot rest for Rick. ;) heh

How do you make those circles? Are those bought pre-made or did you make them yourself?

WOW Hartman, should turn out pretty nice, are you keeping your 3 Comp VR's?? or gunan run something new?

Should look killer when it gets done,

whens esitmated tiem of finishign the project?

PEACE

X-Factor, i tihnk you cna buy those pre maid

To build the sub rings I made a circle jig with a ruler. You basically nail the ruler to the wood, drill a hole out on the ruler depending on the size of the circle you want, and just put your pencil in the hole and draw it all the way around. I cut them out freehand with a jigsaw. My Rotozip had a circle jig built in but it was too small for my needs.

Fleeced, almost ready for glasswork.

Heheh yeah when I saw it I was like "hey that looks familiar" but if ya think about it, they're totally different, so no biggie. I mean heck, I want every Explorer owner to have killer fglass installs. I'm getting tired of all the Astros and stuff getting all the publicity :D

Hartman, that's coming along nicely man. You going sealed? VR1000 or some other huge amp going there? Don't tease us man, details!! :p

I started planning this project way before typhoon posted construction pics of his. I guess only one person is allowed to have a fiberglass box.

The enclosure will be sealed. The amp I'm using is a 04 model Kicker KX850.2
