On a totally unrelated note, I was walking around campus (Hofstra University) last night with a friend doing what we call "Carspotting" where every once and a while we walk though all the dorm parking lots looking all the different cars on campus (kids got money here and some nice cars) and I came across two lifted Explorers. One was a 91-94 4 door with SOA and a superlift lift with 33s from Maryland (looked like it got used too) and another one was a black 97 sport with black steel AR rims with 31s. I couldn't quite see where his lift came from other than he had a spring pack from a 4 door (not monoleaf) I guess he could have had a TT up front and lifted springs in the back (no Warn shakles or anything) , but it looked badass. Now all I gotta do is some recruiting.
Was it red?? I think I might know who you saw if it was... Keep recruiting!!
X24, I don't know about barhopping, but yes, we have all gone to a restaurant and had SOME members get drunk as skunks before
I think what Darren means is that children probably shouldn't be subjected to the crude humor, late nite practical jokes and general mayhem that ensues at most of our off road get togethers... at least not at his house anyway. If you have kids and you want to bring them on the trail in your own explorer that's fine of course, but it's probably best that you don't stay at Camp Lizard or Camp Darren
Naw, actually it was light blue. I'm probally heading down towars campus tonight to have another look, cruise around with the neons on to get a little attention and maybe the Xers will show themselves.

I saw an explorer on my campus with dual exhaust that I had never seen before. All I want to do is park next to it once, Heh. His exhaust system is ugly tho. Burns in the welds and most of it is clamped together.
chris is it all ready geared up? to match your 4:10's? you gonna use that leaf pack? and look into the revolver shackels for the front i got about another 2" of flex from them...
So what happens to us street guys? There is no way in hell that I will wheel my X. Don't get me wrong, I like going off road (I get a little crazy when I'm driving my bosses truck through the woods ) but I think my 2" drop and 17" cobras will make it somewhat difficult to wheel. Are we welcome to ride along in an offroad machine?
Welcome to the ride along club Matt can't take his X offroading, and I kinda can't either b/c of my performance tires (doesn't look like I'll be able to afford any AT tires any time soon )...There should be enough trucks at this gathering to afford a few mooches.
Are we going to be doing any serious wheelin, Darren? I'm all up for doing donuts in the snow....
depends how serious you want to get..... ? i wouldnt recomend any water crossings.... dounuts are fine by me... dunnno if i will have my truck on the road then though.
