well I know this is kinda late to but letting people know but, on sat september 28, there is a car/truck show and swap meet at Raceway park in englishtown NJ, just wanted to know if any one was intereded in meeting up and having a bunch of the truck there, if you want more info on the times and directions here is the web site http://www.etownraceway.com/

Sounds good to me, not sure if the deranger will be on the trails, but I may be coaxed, the next w/e is Rock Dawgs, I'll be there too.
Not sure how much $$ for the D44, I got to wrestle up some cash, Fundsaloe sneaked up on me again.

Im there. Chris are you gonna go to the swap meet? if so ill by the axle and gears off of you there if you want. maybe with some luck ill have everything ready for the october run.

yeah im definitly gonna go to the swap meet, I wont have the SAS done by then, as a matter of fact, Im gonna try to find the rest of the parts im missing there... hopfully I have some luck. I will, however, have it out that following week. I will have about 2 weeks to finish the SAS b4 the oct run.

Picked up the truck today!!! Man, I'm am sooo happy. When I first got it, it ran kinda soft, like when I would floor it, it just didn't have that much juice, so I chalked it up to it having 33's with 3.27 gears. When I got home, I put a weight on the accelerator and checked the throttle body, it was only open half way. The pedel covers the owner had put on there got in the way of WOT and when I removed them, the truck ran like it was brand new. Then, after driving it a while, the check engine light went away, (he deducted like 200 bucks since I said I'd fix that myself). So I'm sittin' pretty now. I'll post pics as soon as I get some.

Yeah, they were those crappy plastic ones. The braket was so big behind the pedel that it was hitting the floor and preventing WOT.

Oh yeah, picked up a set of 4 door leaf springs off a 2000 X with only 800 miles on them, they look brand new. I'll put 'em in when the shakels arrive.

Hey, Parli once mentioned that the MAS/Maf thing from a Cobra would work on an explorer...anybody know if he was right?? Would it have to be a 98 to be compatible with my truck? There's a wreck in the junkyard right now and I don't have the $$ for a Granatelli, heh heh.

did a bigger hammer work on your busted 02 sensor?
