Was with some friends in the woods and got majorly stuck :) I am now inspired to put together a full recovery kit for my vehicle as well as a stuck overnight in the middle of nowhere kit if the recovery kit fails. Follow the links below for the whole story and some photos of the aftermath:

There ya go... Let this be a lesson to everyone not to play in the woods at night with no one but your idiot friends and worthless recovery gear :D

DANG that sucks

did u put the tow strap onto the bumper ot somthing ??

srry to see that hope u get it fixed

PEACE

Ahh... The old ego rears it's head. :D (We've all been there.) But the pics show a car in the restoration process, not of a damaged bumper. I read the story though and that really sucks. Take the advice from landsmasher on the K5 site, get some recovery points put on.

$305?Damn

Why so much?

Mine was only $125, and the guy has to ride a hard trail for about half a mile and use every single winch he had at once at dusk....

Awwwww man, he must've replaced the pics... I knew I should've saved them:rolleyes:... Oh well, if you want some pics of my friends 67 Chevelle (I think that's the right year) look at the pics :)

$2 per mile, 40 miles round trip, $225 labor... I called around town today and Doug's Towing, which is the coolest towing company ever, would've done it for $150... I figured it'd be a lot more since they would've been going about 80 miles round trip, but I now have their number in my glove box if I'm ever within 100 miles of Cheyenne and need a tow :):D
