After some deliberation and my wife losing her job after 17 years, we have decided to curtail our monthly expenses where possible. With 2 daughter in high school. I have decided that I can live without a 585 monthly payment for XLT and have decided to take a buyout against it. Its a 2011 as described below.

So tomorrow I begin the dance, as I call it. My pervious car I had prior to the xlt was a honda ridgeline. I am leaning towards a used one. I saw a semi loaded one with 25k miles on it, certified, clean and nly $19,500. I am hopeing to gain 7-8k after my buy out. Effectively shavng 300-350 every month.

So as much as my attempt at humor failed in some case, I do hope I brought some knowledge and understanding to the forum.

Spitfisher, better days are ahead. Keep your chin up. Best to your family. Your first "month's savings" will be spent on Homecoming dresses. Ask me how I know!:)

Hey man that stuff is happening more and more. I hope that everything comes out better than you began. Hopefully she can get back in the job marked.

Sorry to hear about your situation Spitfisher. I hope that things will turn around for you and the family. Don't forget to check in now and then.
All the best and thank you for your contributions to the Forum.

Peter
