First of all thanks to all you People sharing Your knowlege on this forum.
You have already been very helpful.

I just bought a 1999 EX SOHC already modified for LPG. The car was not running at the time so I got it cheap.. The car started but stalled when I shifted into gear.

This forum pointed me to the IAC and MAF and a New IAC and cleaned MAF got it going.

Here is my remaining problem.
The car has a stutter when I am at cruising speeds when the engine is warm.
It idles a bit rough (vibrations) when warm as well but evenly at about 750RPM. It accelerates just fine and the gears shift evenly with no signs of any problems. It also gives a realy bad milage (3L/10Km).

The problem is the same on petrol or LPG

Thanks,
Sven

Hei kompis! Velkommen! Sounds more like a fuel issue than anything else, have you considered changing out the fuel filter yet?

Lykke til!

Heisan..

I had the LPG system serviced for safety reasons. It works as expected and have the appropriate pressure by the condenser. Because there is no difference when i run on petrol or propane i have assumed that the fuel arrives at the intake as it should.

I have a new fuel filter, spark plugs, all four O2 sensors and a New MAF in order from Rockauto. Spark leads and coil pack is new. I will replace all this and hope it solves the problem...

A full on tune up like that should hopefully solve some issues. Are you at any high altitudes? If so sometimes a failing fuel pump can have issues at inclines and altitudes. But if you have no issues switching fuels it may not be a delivery issue as you previously mentioned

Tilgi meg, I am not familiar with propane injection. Sounds like the truck was neglected during its earlier life and would benefit from a tune up, ha!

The truck seems to be well maintained, it's just hard to find someone in this country that can repair US Ford..
Last trip to the shop was done just before I bought the car as an attempt to fix the stalling issue. They replaced the coil pack, then gave up and recomended the ovner not to spend any more money on the old car..

They charged about 1K-USD for this job.
