Some good suggestions

Hey everyone,

I just bought a 1993 Explorer, with a 4.0, and I was wondering what is the best engine oil to use.

It is a 4x4, and automatic. It has just about 98,000 miles on it. Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

Thanks Colintrax, but unfortuneately I cant get that around here in Montana.

Also wondering if there is anything I can do for setting the idle. It idles high. I know I need a tune up so I am hoping that will help. And any ideas on why the tranny isn't shifting properly.

I can get it up to 25mph but any higher and the rpms stay up around 3000, which I know is not right.

Once again any ideas will be helpful
