Some picuters of my 97 Explorer

Here are snap shots I took of my 97 Explorer at the Cranberry Glades in West Virginia on 12-29-01. We had between 4-6" of snow, we drove around all day and put about 70 miles on the trailes. I'm glad I had my locker because it was slick in places. We used topo maps and GPS to find our way around. We had a good time, so i thought i would share that with you! Hope you like them!

Thanks fellas. Yeah, i love WV. The place we were at is about a 2.5 hour drive from my house, but we had about 2 inches of snow when i got up that morning. We're hoping it snows again soon so we can go back up there. Luckly we didn't have to get out the chains and hi-lift for anything, i was hoping i would find someone in a ditch somewhere so i could pull them out. We did find one older couple with their 2 grandkids stranded with their brand new 2wd ext. cab chevy with the front tires off the ground, sitting on the frame. I was going to try, but there was tow truck already on the way, and the road was nothing but ice, so i wouldn't have done anygood! It was fun though!

those pic's are sweet. I love the way your explorer looks with the lift. Are those 31's on your ride? You are making me want to lift mine right about now. You just did a tt and shackle lift right?

Is your suspension stock or did you have to raise it to fit the 31's?

I just bought a '97 and am in the planning phase of some upgrades, so I'm just wondering.

whats up Weebo? I have a '97 also, and i am in louisville! Nah but Jot017 has a Tortion Twist and add a leaf and he put 31's on there, but more than likelly you would be able to fit 31's without any lift i did, i have 4" of lift and i am running 31's, soon to be 33's

Thanks for the comments. Like Yomie said it's just the torsion twist and ad-a-leaf, i did have to do some trimming thought because it rubbed when you turned the tire, nothing big though! Now that i found a site that will host pictures i can share more often! Thanks again!
