On my way to work this morning I went to pass a car up hill and the rpms jumped to the rev limiter, I backed off for a second and tried it again. No prob, then on my way home it would do the same thing, try to pass and go all the way up to the rev limiter. for the most part it shifts fine, surges once in a while, holds its own on a hill with light throttle there are no problems besides a stick for a second or two but thats few and far between. What exactly could be wrong, I'm planning a pan drop with a new filter along with snugging down the valve body bolts, could it be something that simple or not?
