Someone on here had shackles made of angle?

Hey guys. I remember seeing someone on here that had their shackles homemade out of 2x2 angle? I was just curious how thick the angle was and if it was working out well? I have some 2x2 angle at the shop and am perhaps going to make some shackles for myself.
