someone's gotta know how to make my grille shiny

alright i sanded down the chrome finish, put 5 coats of black paint on it, and now 4 coats of clearcoat and its not looking quite as shiny as my car or my bumper, what gives? lol is there anything else i can do? thanks

it looks great, but its just not matching the high shiny glossy parts of my truck like the hood and bumper
 






If you used just rattle cans to paint and clear it you won't get it to shine that well.

You might be able to buff it and that might help, but not sure what you used.

 






yeah, like duracolor spray can paint from autozone. and i primed it and put 4 coats of clearcoat. could i wet sand it and then use rubbing compound to make it shinier? that was a suggestion of rfr212 pete
