well some might know by now i cant keep the x running(turn it off it wont turn back on) well today i went out and was gonna jump it off and take her to the woods, well i loosened the positve battery terminal a little bit so i could hook up my lights. well my main head lights came on. so i jumped in it and turnt the key to see!!! well it came right on (the x) let it idle for a few then shut it off and turnt it again, came on again!!!! dunno if its fully fixed but it works, but has some had this happen? the terminal being too tight it wont come on?

...actually i believe it's time to at least replace one if not both of your battery cables....this is a common problem lately...your cables may be corroded or broke inside the sheathing...30 bucks or so for both new cables can resolve alot of issues...;)

ok thanks, some one also told me to check the cable from the alt. i just thought it was odd that when i loosened it it worked.

...the positive and negative cables are to be checked...i would also very closely check at the bottom of the battery post that you loosened...i had a battery years ago that had a crack at the base of the post and that was a rare but difficult problem to find...but i'm still betting it's your battery cable...more than likely, the ground cable but both are suspects...:D

ok when theres light i'll check lol

same thing happened to me, you would turn the key and the starter relay would click, and then the whole thing would die, and you would have to wiggle the terminal. all you have to do is make sure the connection is good. i recomend replacing the terminals on both side and make sure they are nice and tight!!
