Back in May, I lifted my explorer and the had the exhaust cut off after the cats and placed a dual in/dual out forza-flow muffler that was turned down...Next thing I did, I added a K&N FIPK to help compliment the exhaust....ever since I did this I can't get rid of the CEL....I had it checked and said bank 1 & 2 were both lean....?? Not always but a majority of the time when you pull off from a dead stop the truck wants to bog down...and act like it's flooded. Then once you're goin around 30 or 40 and punch it same result....but it will eventually go but it's like something it restraining all the power??? If you ease back on the gas to a certain point, it takes off like a bat out of hell...and shows how much power it's missing out on....can anybody give me a shot in the dark answer as to what might be going on??

Check to make sure you don't have any leaks from the intake. Make sure the connections are nice and tight. Also, my advice would be to clean the Mass Airflow Sensor. There could be oil on the filaments causing it to send incorrect signals to the computer. I clean mine periodically because I am running a high-flow intake and haven't had any problems.

Just do a search for "clean MAF" and you will find hundreds of threads about it.

Most of the time if a Ford has a lean code it is actually miss read. The code typically reads that the ECM has reached max lean limits, which really means the engine is running rich and the ECM has leaned the fuel to its maximum available limits, but the engine is still running rich. My first step would be to follow JMan's advice and clean the MAF sensor. The next thing I would check is the fuel pressure regulator.

Thanks for the help, I was beginning to wonder...sometimes at WOT it runs fast as hell, but then again sometimes it wants to act like it's holding back...so I appreciate yall's help.
