When the vehicle is cold the car has no problem starting however, once it warms up, you stop to run an errand and attempt to restart the vehicle, it may or may not start. There is no pattern to this behavior what so ever. You could start it 10 times in a row then all of a sudden you go into the store for 5 mins., try to restart the car and it simply cranks. After waiting anywhere from 10-20 mins. it will start again. What is the deal?

Bad Crankshaft Position Sensor is one possible cause. Search for more info....

Is there any visible corrosion around the battery or cables? Even if there isn't, it could be your cables starting to go. Electrical resistance increases with temperature.

Thank you for the tip. I will research this just a titch more

Thanks

Very good suggestion. I will do just that and see...
