sound deadening material???

Quick question about sound deadening material, does that stuff actually work or not? Im thinking to put it in my doors.. Thanks!!!

It does. If you use it properly. I don't have any in our Explorer, but in my A4 I spent some time first adding some sound deadening to the outer door shell, then sealing up any large holes in the door (I used roofing aluminum cut to fit) and then used some more deadening over that.

Definitely makes a good difference, and I am nowhere near the usage that some people put in their vehicles.

I've heard great things about it, and you don't get all the extra weight of dynamat or whatever else you choose to use.
