Sound trouble

I just got a got some woofers in the trunk of my xlt and amp. But im having a problem with the sound. Everything is hooked up but my woofers are not bumping like they suppose to. I had to buy a rca converter and i dont think i got it hooked up right i need somr real help!

try to set the gain if it possible on the converter.

I hooked my converter up to my rear speakers but my rear speakers dont work normally it sound like static. Is it some way to fix this?

are your rear speakers blowen? how old are they?

are you saying the rear speakers, or the subwoofers are static-ey? How do you have it hooked up?
