I've been told by numerous tire shops not to use spacers. Said it would put to much stress on the bearings or bushings and have heard of some peoples wheels fall off. I have a 05 Ranger with 33's on it and thought it would look cool with my wheels extended out a bit.
I bought the spacers before I heard any of this stuff. What do you guys think? Thank you.

how big is the spacer? Spacers do put more stress on the bearings naturally. If the spacer is a quality made part it should be fine.

What type are they? do they first bolt to the existing lugs then provide new lugs to mount the wheels? Those are the best. If they don't I know I guy who makes great adapters, if you want i'll pm you his info :D

yes, bolt to existing lugs then provide new lugs.

ya, they should be safe.

Just curious fella's, why do I hear the tire places suggesting not putting them on. Do you or any of your friends use them currently and have you had any problems with yours on vehicles you've had? Do I have to tighten the lugs all the time. Then it wouldn't be fun. Don't want to destroy my truck. I'll do that myself.
