Spark Plug Difference

HI!!
I changed my spark plugs today and i noticed a strange thing:
I have on driver side : AGRF22P
passenger side: AGRF22PG

WHY???????

Ford Explorer 2000 xlt 4.0 SOHC

Is that commun???? in those years???

Yes it's normal. he replacement is a different number as well, I do believe. (don't have it offhand) The replacements can be used in either side.

The reason for the difference is that due to the wasted spark ignition system, the electrodes on the plugs would wear differently. The replacements apparently don't have that problem.
