Hello,

How many miles on the existing plugs/wires? It's usually a good idea to replace the plugs and wires together.

Good luck,

ERUSH

hey guys thanks for the replies
well i didnt get to it anyway the brakes ah the brakes:mad:
both bleeder screws are shot and two of the four slide pins are completely rusted stuck. the inside pax side pad is about 1/8" basically just the plate is left and the outside pad looks brand new. the rotors are also useless. so thats gonna take some more time then i thought.
thanks again
Danny

If you've never changed the plugs/wires and don't know when the last time they were changed was, then I would go ahead and do both. However, if you have a repair manual you can check the resistance on each plug wire to see if they are out of spec and need to be replaced.

you can check the resistance on each plug wire to see if they are out of spec
that seems like way to much work:cool:
the truck is somewhat new to me so i have no idea when they were changed so i think i will be doing it soon with the new wires

If you are just replacing pads, you don't need to bleed the system. If you do want to bleed, you can try bleeding where the flex line goes into the caliper.

hey im doing pads and rotors and flex hose. so right now my main problem is i cant get the guide pin out of the bracket. its completely rust together. any ideas????? also any ideas on how to plug the lines so i can take the calipers off the work on them inside????
