I was changing the plugs in my daughter's 2010 2.3 Ranger last month and the number 3 cylinder plug would not fully seat. The threads were dinged up pretty bad. I cut a notch vertically across the threads of a old plug with a very thin cut off wheel and used it as a tap. Cleaned up the threads, worked great.
