Here is some info and a question for anybody with a 4liter SOHC. Spark plugs on the drivers side are pretty easy to get to hence easy to change. The passengers side is a different story. I went throught the wheel well to get to the passenger side front spark plug. I couldnt get the two sparkplugs closer to the back of the engine bay because I couldnt get the spark plug wires off. What is the easiest way to get the two back passenger wires off? That would be great.

Unfortunately there is no EASY way to get those wires off the plugs. I broke both them getting them off. The SOHC is such a sh****y designed motor to get at. Its a wonder even the Ford techs complain when they have to do this!
The easiest way is to pull your tire off and wiggle the wires (with gloves on) and try and get them off. I purchased my new Motorcraft wires off the web(much cheaper then the stealerships here in San Diego. I couldnt find a decent aftermarket set that fit correctly on the coil pack.

have paitence and about an hour or so to pull those wires off. It shouldnt be so hard but that dam airconditioning/heater unit is right in the way of the last 2 rear plugs. ARRRGGHHHH

Try using a pair of channel lock pliars to turn the plug boots and break the seal. Once they are loose its not too bad getting them off. Gloves and a cold engine help some also.
