thats the website i can check the vehicle from. it's meant for business owners with multiple vehicles. tells you numerous things:

1. if the vehicle is running or off
2. how long has it been on or off
3. tells you all the stops with checkpoints
4. how fast the vehicle is moving

etc...

unfortunately it by no means helps the driver find his way around. but again, it'd be a good security thing. I am under constant watch by my dad (not really, it just saves me a load of car insurance for my 'company' vehicle, lol, that does 149db.)

oh yea, I forgot to mention the only real reason to get it, I saved some $200 a year in insurance by adding this, it cost me $150 to add it all. definately worth the investment. all you gotta do is tell your insurance company once it's installed and they usually give you a discount for having it.

I would like to know that too. Who makes it and where is it available? How much do they charge you for a monthly monitoring fee? I would love to be able to see where my truck is from my computer. Please, tell us more.

edit - whoops, it rolled over to the next page. I didn't see your answer already. Thanks, reading it now.

hehe, yea, just contact them, they'll refer you to the local dealer near you who'll install it too. they did it on site at my house too.

There is no pricing info on their site.

What did it cost you?

it didnt cost me much because I was able to get a mass-installation discount, because my dad had 9 other vehicles done at the same time.

you must contact them, because i'm sure the pricing varies and might've changed, but yea, it's cheap like $10 a month. it cost some pretty money to get the gps reciever and some other weird box under my rear seat, but it's definately something i could've installed myself. I am not sure how much it cost overall, i got it put in like 4 years ago. lol.

oh, and it's two little boxes about the size of ... hm... like 3"x6"x1/2" +/-1"

took me a year to figure out how to disconnect it so incase i wanted to disappear, i could. lol, fortunately, it's good enough so that it knows its disconnected. even when it's turned off, it sends signals to the satelite, so disconnecting it alerts the website and you'd know where it was last. but i like the way it's designed, with an extra battery like bbq has, you could easily prevent it from ever being disconnected by someone who knows how to disconnect security alarms real quick.

and it works with the antenna unscrewed too, a carwash place forgot to give me my antenna back once, and I forgot too, i got it a week later, but during that time the gps still recorded my driving.
