Speaker not working

I recently purchased a new stereo for my 2001 xlt, works well noticed that the left rear speaker was not working. I replaced the rear speakers with Pyle Pl573bl and now there is no sound.

Check if there is current at the speaker with a multimeter, and then check that the wire is ok and connected properly/not cut somewhere.

On my Ex the OE connector pins had become loose. I disassembled the connector, reshaped the female metal pins and then put it back together. Worked great after that.
