speaker to amp wiring question

I have a question, do I need to tap into the factory speaker wires in order to connect an amp to my front and rear speakers or do I just run speaker wire directly from the speakers to the amp?

you could do it either way. if you have a good sub you could just use the factory wiring, but if you want good mid-bass response get your own wiring, just make sure it's a decent size.
