Speed Limiter

Hey I have an 03 explorer 4.0 and it seems that the speed limiter is set to 103 and when i get it to that speed it seems like something is causing the fuel to shut on and off because the engine seems to go like on and off, anyone know if its possible to remove the limiter

yes it can be removed, though it will require the purchase of an SCT tuning device.

talk to james at hensonperformance.com (send him an email) he will do more than turn off your speed limiter, he will turn your ride for an extra 10-15 rwhp.

Ok because im going to florida soon, usually we take our 2003 Yukon Xl Denali with the 6.0 and that thing runs the whole time holding 90-95, runs like a champ. But this time the ex is going to make the run, and sometimes I like to gas it up a little on the straight aways
