Hey guys just got the rig back exhaust looks great :) I'll try to post some pictures of it, also i was going to have them replace the speed sensors because it was giving me lights on my dash, my mechanic said not to worry a out it right now, he said because I have a lift and tires he said that the wire for the sensor was being pulled because of the lift, has anyone had this problem? And what should I do I'm kinda stuck on the situation, also is there afternarket sensors so meaning if they are longer so it could work with the lift? He said if he puts then new ones in that exaust of the lift they will put out again and break and be a waste

I am sure that there is a way to purchase the male/female connectors and fabricate an extender for your custom setup. I believe that there is plenty of extra wiring that can be let out in the front (IIRC it is zip tied up out of the way on top of the A arms) so it must be the rear that is the problem.
Also, if the wire is being pulled, like your mechanic says, and you are getting lights without any of the RSC/ABS system kicking in then the wires on the sensors themselves are shot unless they are not connected at all.

He said the rear ones are fine and it's the front ones that have the problems where he thinks it's because there not long enough do you think I should just get them replaced idk what to do

On mine there is around 4" of extra wiring zip tied up on top of the A arm out of the way on the front so I would say that during the install one of the wires got damaged and that is why you are having the issue (pull the codes and find out exactly which one). You are only around 1.75" over stock diameter on your tires so I don't understand what the mechanic is talking about since there is plenty of extra slack in the speed sensor wiring for that increase in tire diameter.

So the ex is in the shop for inner and outer tie rods and come to find out its not the wire that's not work causing the lights on the dash it's from the bearing where the cable attaches to so getting both left and right done for the I believe he said full hub assembly with is like $367 per hub and then the tie rods both sides

You know I didn't even think of the Hub bearings because of the shop claiming that it was the wires, particularly because it occurred after their work (I figured that it was something they would have checked as part of a lift install). IDK, I would personally ask the shop to discount the work that they are doing since the front hubs were not a problem until they put the lift on it. Also, make sure that they are using a good brand and not some cheap Chinese knock off, otherwise you will be doing it again in a year or so.

I installed the lift myself so u never checked it not thinking I would of had too and he put in the ford part not aftermarket

Oh, I see, it was originally in the shop for exhaust work and not the lift too. Oh well, the bearings going bad on the front on these can cause weird interface issues with the sensors for the RSC system on this generation. Usually when the bearings are at fault for the lights on the dash you also get the ABS system intermittently kicking in and out instead of the light on but nothing else. Glad to hear that it is fixed now though; just in time for the RSC system to be useful with the winter weather driving.
