gotta another one for all you people smarter than me.

I was trying to repack the bearnings on the passenger side of my 94 with manual hubs on it. There is the little c-clip/oh jesus clip that you remove first. the second thing you remove is the little slotted spindle washer. Well, it is bent to crap and i can't get it to slide of the splines. Anyone ever delt with this before and what did you do to get it off.

I can't get the locknuts off until this washer is off. I'm sure you all knew that though. Right now i just slapped everying back together. the only thing i can see that thing doing is a safety precaution that if what of the outer locknut becomes loose it won't spin into the hubs.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

You guys/gals rock on this board for helping everyone out!!!

The washer/clip actually hold the stub axle in the spindle. It is not uncomon for them to get trashed when the hub is forced on. If the washer is trashed to the point that you can't get it off you will have to figure out some way to cut the washer off. You can get new ones from Ford.
