Sporadic Odometer

My odometer at 104,000 miles is working sporadically. Can't find anything in my book about where the cable is located. Can anyone tell me where to find it? Did a search on this site but did not come up with an answer.

I have the same thing wrong. They said it was the head (speedometer itself) Best thing is to get one from the junkyard.
I just use the tach and my GPS

If you sell your Explorer it will appear to have less miles on it. Heh heh heh...
