Solved the lean code (I think) The vacuum line came off the heater control valve under the Alternator, so I assume thats it :p Anyway, I finished the patch on the quarter with a 12 foot paint job, and I even modified the flare to work with the tube bumper and chopped quarters, Cause its not an eddie bauer without the flares right? But they dont neccesarily have to be tan :p

Did a bit of work over the last couple of days.... First off I changed the leaf springs for a ford F65 pack from a 1998 F150. I just did a straight swap, but I may change it. Unloaded the springs are the same length Eye to Eye but along the curve they are longer. The truck rides better than it did before and it gave me 2" of lift and a ton more droop, but I may mix and match the f150 spring with the Explorer spring. But anyways heres a before and after and some during shots :p

I flipped the centering pin on the leaves to work with SUA, and I had to make a sleeve for the front bushing because that hole on the F150 is HUGE, other than that its straight forward.

Also I did a mock up of the front winch bumper with the Warn Bellevue series winch. I need more tubing, and at the moment I have no were to weld, we just moved out of our shop :p

So, I have a question for you guys... With the new leafs and a torsion twist I have 2" of lift total, on 32s. Theres plenty of room for 32s (Minor bumper trimming), I think I could get 33s on as it sits. my question is, if i did a 3" body lift, would I clear 35s? Or should I stick with 33s?

I have 33" mud terrains on my 96 sport with a TT, aal and shackles, minor trim in the front, none in the rear and no rub, if that helps you. wheels are alcoa 15x8 3.5" BS

New rims, eh? Any plans for the Ranger Alcoa rims? :) after seeing them on yours, I want to find a set for mine (plus my stock rims have seen better days)

Well, I sold the truck. I bought a *dont hate* 1995 Isuzu Rodeo. I was looking for an older isuzu suv when I bought the Explorer, therre werent any good ones and this was cheap and available, then just this past week I looked at this Rodeo on an impulse and I had to have it. See yall later!
