Sport Trac shocks on an 01.

Hi all, I am new to the forum and hope to gather some information. I have an '01 sport trac that is in need of new shocks. It is a 2wd but I would like to add some height to it just for looks.

Does anyone have suggestions for this, what shocks do you recommend, and is this a DIY project for the average mechanically inclined person.

Shocks

Currently I have Monroe Sensatrac Shocks and they are really smooth shocks. If you are planning on doing a Torsion Twist and a shackle in the rear, I would recommend Rancho RS5000 or above.

Rancho rs5000 series shocks then do a tortion twist and shackle lift. Just search the forums and you find out how to do this lift, it isnt very difficult.
