Sport Trac won't stay running.

Hello out there. I'm having trouble with my 01 Sport Trac; it will only run if I keep my foot on the gas. When I let off it dies. Any ideas? I must admit I'm not very mechaniclly inclined, any segestions would be greatly appreciated.

Idle Air Control valve sensor. It's located under the "SOHC" emblem (Big pc of plastic on top of the engine)

Had the same problem, and it sounds like the problem you're having. Can't be 100% sure but....

You didnt happen to put a intake on or oil your filter did you? Also, maybe try cleaning you MAF sensor?

Let's not forget about that stupid rubber vacuum elbow that was apparently designed to fail. I was having the same problem ,then remembered the elbow. It wasn't even connected to the pipe. Hooked it back in and away I went.
