Hi Guys,

I'm looking to mount a couple of spot lights to the front of my truck but I haven't got an 'A' bar or full Bull Bar on it. The question is if I wanted to drill the bumper and mount them directly to it is there any chance of causing problems with the airbag sensors or not?

If there is a chance of this happening is there a better location to mount them, they're probably about 8" round and about 3" deep front to back if that helps.

Any help on how to mount them would be great, i have tried the search but it came up blank.

Cheers

Carl

You can mount additional square type spotlights, exactly the same as the standard stock ones that already exist. I did that by drilling into that bit of plastic bumper on the bottom, so now i have a row of four.

You can drill through that top plastic bumper bit and then down into the metal bumper, i wouldn't of thought it would cause any problems with the airbags, etc. Just watch what you are going to drill into.

To be honest in the long run you would be better off with a set of a bars or bull bars, they look good and provide mounting points. Second hand they are quite reasonable, i keep missing the ones on offer, lol.
