Spring cleaning (of the X, that is)

Well I'm on my Spring break so I've decided it's time to do a good cleaning job on my car.

Today, after getting all muddy visiting a state park for a walk with my dog, I decided I would wash the X. So I did that for a good 20-30 minutes and then I started on the inside. My mats looked like crap so I really had to scrub them hard for a while. The rain put a damper on my plans so I'll have to delay my vaccum job until tomorrow. I finally decided to grab a pair of replacement liscense plate bulbs at Pep Boys and pop them in as well. Tomorrow, I'm going to put on some Rain-X and who knows what else.

I know you're probably thinking "Who cares?" but I'm just really proud of all the time and effort I put into doing it. I have the time, so why not put it to good use?

I'm really wishing this rain would stop now. About all of my work was a total waste because the next day it poured down again. I really wish I had a garage because I've been meaning to change my oil for a day or so, but the ground's been too wet to do it. Oh well...guess I'll have to break down and do it tomorrow. At least I've still got my fogs coming in the mail.
