I am wanting to put my springs over my axle but not really sure what I need to get to do this. Also, what do I do to lift up the front end in this case? What do I need for that? Is this at all possible without getting a lift kit?

You would probably be better off getting the superlift 6"lift. It uses the stock u-bolt plate and the stock shock mount and it comes wioth a bracket thingy to do a sprinover in the rear and comes with new springs, and all the necessary brackets. You could get this basic kit (without the radius arms) for less than the 4"kits out there. I got quoted something like $250 or so to do the springover and labor from a 4x4 shop around me. And then an extra $100 for the shock mounts to be welded on the axle. I would rather go with the superlift lift kit. It's probably possible to find new coil springs and make new radius arms and drop down brakets for the arms and get a pitman arm and sway bar links and axle drop brakcets and...well wouldn't you rather buy a kit that has it all???

I would say go custom. Superlifts SOA kit is not that great. I had mine for 6 months and have offroaded maybe 6 times and I have already cracked the shock mounted. Plus the craftmanship, welds, etc are poor in my opinion. Also, if you have flexy leafs, the Superlift shock mount will definitely be too short and limit travel.

Just my 2 cents after having spent 2grand on Superlift and not being satisfied.

Cheers

Dale
