I've had this happen once, I was at Chilis getting ready to leave and every time that I cranked my Ex, it turn over, sputter, then shut off. It did that about three or four times before it would not even turn over. It got loaded up on a roll back, taken home and unloaded, then it started right up. That was about 9 months ago, and it has been fine, until the other day. It did the same thing after I had driven it to my brothers house and it set for about 2 hours. It started, sputtered when I put it in reverse, then died. Started it again, gave it gas and it died. Again, this time I put it in neutral and floored it for 2 seconds, then put it in rev. and it did fine. Then yesterday I was going to eat dinner and when I got near the restaurant, it acted like it was going to die, doing that sputtering thing again, and when I got in the parkiing lot, I stopped and put it into reverse and it revved itself up to 2000 rpms, I waited a few seconds and it kept up there until I tapped the gas pedal and it stopped then dropped back down the rpms. Any ideas whats going on? Bad MAS, O2 sensors? A friend of mine said that it seems like there might be air in the fuel lines, but how could that be? ANY suggestions would help.

It does seem to be a problem with the fuel system. Quick thoughts: fuel filter, fuel pump relay, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator.
