Squeaking from front driver tire 02 Sport

Belle Tire called and is convinced it is the brakes. They are charging me 582 for four new rotors and pads plus labor. What do you guys think?

The guy at Belle Tire assured me 100% that this was the problem.

They were 100% convinced without removing the rotors to inspect? Saturday training? :scratch:

Your call on the bearing repair, personally I'd have a problem believing ANYTHING they say.
Should you go for it, best to change both sides since they are probably the same mileage.

I decided to give them one more try. I'm not sure if they are replacing both, but at this point, I just want a car that doesn't creak so I can get to work and make money to invest more into this. I wish I would have taken your advice. I should have taken this to an independent shop. I know one that is very good and did an excellent job when I couldn't get my starter out. I will always try to go to an independent shop from now on.

My big problem is how could they have missed the elephant in the room when they took it for a test drive. It creaked very loudly, yet he claimed to miss it.

Final Update: I went to Belle Tire to pick it up this morning and my clacking noise was gone. There was still a lot of noises coming from the front suspension. The problem was a wheel hub bearing I really want to say. The receipt is in my truck and I'm at work I will update of wrong. They charged me 80 for parts and labor because they knew they messed up. Thanks for everybody's help. People who said wheel hub bearings were right. Just out of curiosity, how much would it cost to replace those if I didn't have Belle Tire do it?
