Squeaky Window

My driver's window squeaks when I roll it up. I've tried to spray WD-40 and silicone lubricant down the tracks but no change. Does anyone know the cause or how I can fix it?

Do you mean as it goes up or after it goes up?

Mine squeaks and rattles after it's fully up for a minute or so and is then silent until the next time it's lowered and raised...

Mine squeaks on the way up as well I pulled the door panel and sprayed the tracks and it didn't help at all. If anyone knows the cure PLEASE post it.

It squeaks as it goes up. It's quiet after it's rolled up. Also, it's only the driver's window, all others are quiet going up and down.

I finally got tired of the noise and pulled the panel again. What I found was a pulley near the top of the door just about 2-3" from the rear of the window. May be able to see it with a light without pulling the panel.

I took a can of WD-40 with a straw and placed the straw on the pulley and the cord and sprayed the crap out of it.

After spraying and working the window up and down a few times the squeak has stopped! So for those with the same problem give it and shot and hope it will solve your problem.
