my suspention squeeks where the leaf spring connect to the frame closest to the door. i tryed oiling it, spraying it with wd40 and it still squeeks, any suggestions?

Use a waterproof grease--WD-40 will wash off right away. I suggest using NLGI Lithium grease, (it's the gray lithium grease, the same kind you put in tie rod ends), commonly called "chassis lube grease".

Also make sure it's the leaf spring that is making the noise. I have seen trucks that had the emergency brake rubbing and squeaking back in that area. When that happens, it can often be mistaken for the leafs squeaking. It can't hurt to lube the leafs, anyway...

welcome to the club.. there are many of us with squeeky leaf springs ~ normally caused by an AAL (as was the case for me)

i'm too lazy to pull the leaf pack apart and replace the plastic bushing thingy's and grease everything
